在写VMware tools工具安装之前,我先跟大家说一下我的VMware版本如图:

我安装的ubuntu是:ubuntu-11.04-desktop-i386

好啦,下面我一步一步的说:

第一我们需要点击vmware上的“VM”找到“Reinstall VMware Tools...”并点击,如图:

ok,我们会在ubuntu中看到自动弹出一个窗口的同时桌面上也多了一个“VMware Tools”的文件夹,我们在窗口中把“VMwareTools-8.8.2-590212.tar.gz”拖到桌面上并解压出压缩获取“vmware-tools-distrib”文件夹,如图:

然后我们打开“Terminal”也就是终端啦!如图:

打开后我们就开始输入命令,进入桌面的vmware-tools-distrib:

cuizhe@ubuntu:~/Desktop$ cd vmware-tools-distrib
cuizhe@ubuntu:~/Desktop/vmware-tools-distrib$ [/php]

当然你也可以直接输入:

cuizhe@ubuntu:~/Desktop/vmware-tools-distrib$

都是可以滴哦!

然后我们输入:

下面的内容中输入好多"Y"哦!感觉很烦琐!=   =|||

File /usr/lib/vmware-tools/lib32/libconf/etc/fonts/fonts.conf is backed up to
/usr/lib/vmware-tools/lib32/libconf/etc/fonts/fonts.conf.old.0.

This program previously created the file
/usr/lib/vmware-tools/lib32/libconf/etc/pango/pango.modules, and was about to
remove it.  Somebody else apparently did it already.
